he Waterford's Life Enrichment
Director plans each day with a variety of programming, including exercise,
arts, crafts, reading and writing groups.
We include support and comfort groups, Bible studies and entertainment (concerts,
plays, tea parties, etc.)
Everyone can enjoy Bingo, board games or a game of cards. Outings and trips
to shopping, or perhaps a walk on the nearby trails help the days to pass quickly.
Even watching television or a movie can be fun if you're doing it with friends.
The Waterford has cozy seating areas inside and out, plus a play area for
younger children. There is a residents' phone line, with the option of personal
phones in apartments and computer access to communicate by e-mail; or you can
set up your own family "chat room."
Our staff is certified to assist with all activities of daily living and individualized
levels of care. Each apartment has a handicapped accessible bathroom with a shower.
Our residents are encouraged to be as independent as possible with our attentive
staff available 24-hours a day.
You can have added confidence in our staff responding to your needs, as you
can activate our medical alert system in an emergency. They are there to help
meet your needs anytime day or night.

"I would love to bring my children to visit their grandparents more often, but they
don't like to sit still for long. My brother lives out of state and doesn't even
get to town often, but he enjoys visiting over the phone."
